B-36 PEACEMAKER 

                  


 

We all have bad days.  The crew of the B-36 that lost the biggest nuclear device in our arsenal just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, will surely remember May 22, 1957 as their worst day ever.

And as you will see at the website of the CENTER FOR LAND USE INTERPRETATION, the impact site is still "hot".
