Isn't it great to remember Who is really in control, and that "the Word of the Lord endures forever." (1 Peter 1:25). I hope you found this encouraging! I surely did. Sometimes we need the reminder of just "WHO" is really in control. UNTIL THE NETS ARE FULL, KEEP ON FISHING! -- Sent by cousin, Johnny Owen
A major addition to Gospelweb is in progress. Much new material, and some old will be organized into a Students Section. We will collect reference materials of great usefulness to Home Schoolers, Junior College and University Students, and others.
It will include Historical Documents, and much true History of our Country, with related materials. Dealing with various fields, it will be arranged, linked, and cross-linked in such way as to facilitate use in study or research by students at all levels on many subjects. Keep checking back. We have the early parts linked below and will be adding more to the research and study section from time to time. The section will be especially useful to Home Schoolers and College Students, as it grows.
IN HONOR OF OUR VETERANS --- “We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause.” --- President Ronald Reagan, Remarks on Veterans Day, 1988 at Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Not Just Special Days, But Every Day, Pray for Our Brave Troops!
Our First President said: "There is a rank due to the United States, among nations, which will be withheld, if not absolutely lost, by the reputation of weakness. If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known that we are at all times ready for war." -- George Washington - (5th Annual Message, 3/12/1793) Ref: George Washington: A Collection, W.B. Allen, ed. (488).
